	Oooh, exciting new diary. I've forgotten all the instructions that were given to me about new lines, so this might come out as one long incoherant mess (*). Never mind. Just been to a so called indie night which was dire. I left once they started playing four At the Drive In songs in a row. I've got some excting new ear plugs now because my new obsession is getting tinnitus and ending up a bitter old lady in a cottage in the scottish highlands who gets driven insane by the incessant ringing in her ears. It might be happening already. Anyway the short of it is that I'll no longer have to go around with bits of tissue shoved in my ears. Retro Electro exhausted me, i think I've only just recovered. Was talking to Susan today not about astronauts but about the rise of Electro and demise of Retro. I will have to go record shopping to accomodate this dramatic turn of events. I've been listening to Fischerspooner all day. The gig has sold out and I wouldn't have been able to go anyway as i have an exam the next day. Well, tomorrow is London Gig. So i have to carry a heavy bass, and remember a plectrum. I have an exciting outfit planned - a dress that hasn't yet made an outing. Looking forward to it lots, and memo to self not to drink too much and tread on people's toes with my pointy pink shoes when dancing. (*) corrected :) . colin
