	I have a talent for encountering weirdos as I think is becoming apparent in this diary. First at Sainsbury's the man in front of us in the queue spends 5 minutes telling me that he's seen people bring snakes and horses into the shop, and that in some countries they would even bring a bullock to the supermarket... He then spends 5 minutes getting the ?4.37 he owes for the 12 chicken legs (his only purchase) out of his jeans while giving us in the queue a monologue about his progress. Then at the club, there was weirdo glitter stalker boy who had to be avoided at all costs - something in his eyes told me that he was probably a serial killer. Then on the night bus, there was strange drugged up Liverpool guy - "These buses 'ave only been in service for 2 days" "Really" "Where ya from" "Liverpool" "I'm from Garston" "Oh, Aigburth" "Then you know what this is then" (brandishes large spliff in face) "Yes, they have CCTV in these new buses you know" "Smell that" "I can't, I've got hay fever" "What's a top bird like you doing having hay fever?" "Er..." (start to hope he's getting off soon, and luckily he does) Then yesterday near Portobello Road there was evil cycling girl plus boyfriend. While cycling up behind us on narrow pavement - "Move it, hurry up or I'll run you over" "You should be on the road" (I can't help this, I live with a road safety campaigner, it's impossible not to) "I'll be on your face in a minute" (this isn't going so well) "Whatever" Boyfriend not spits at us and narrowly misses, "Fuck off!" (that's me, not him, I should know when to quit, but somehow never manage to...). Luckily they have to be in a rush as they don't stop to beat us up... Portobello Road is too trendy for me, it rivals even Hoxton, except in a more BBC executive sort of a way (with less council flats). By the way, if anyone is looking for a house share come September time and they don't mind living with a weirdo magnet, let me know (if you're a weirdo with psychotic tendencies - PLEASE don't reply to this...).
