Your files have been created by the web server user. You access your webspace with your FTP user. Depending on your server configuration, you may or may not be able to delete the files created by the web server. Check your server configuration, or ask your hosting company.

In any case, even if you cannot delete the files via FTP, you can delete them via PHP. Just write a simple script, which will run under the web server user, and delete the files.Reply
